Class 5 Photonics GmbH is a private company founded in 2015 as spin-off of the world-leading X-EUV/X-ray synchrotron laboratory Deutsches Elektronensynchrotron DESY and the Helmholtz-Institute Jena. With currently 14 employees, the company produces the most powerful femtosecond Lasers available on the market. The technology has been originally developed to drive efficient EUV sources at DESY. Class 5 Photonics combines advanced optical technologies with industrial Lasers to deliver game-changing solutions, while proving immense agility in a highly innovative high-tech market.
The performance of Class 5 Photonics’ Laser systems is unreached, holding several world records for Laser power, awarded with the renowned SPIE PRISM Award and the LaserFocusWorld Innovators Gold Award.
